International Labour Organization Internship Programme

The ILO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that focuses on promoting social justice through decent work globally. More information on the ILO and its work is available on the website.

ILO's Internship Programme provides a wide range of opportunities for qualified graduate/postgraduate students and recent graduates who are looking for a “hands-on” learning experience in fields related to the ILO's mandate and activities. At the ILO, interns will increase their understanding of relevant issues at the international level, by direct involvement in the work of the Office and the application of ILO values, principles, programmes, policies and strategies.

Eligibility requirements and internship conditions are available here. Internships in the ILO are paid. The stipend amount is dependent on duty station (more information on the website).

In this roster, the ILO has reserved 11 internship positions exclusively for persons with disabilities. More information on this initiative can be found in the attached brochure.

Selected applicants who are from the countries listed here may be eligible to have their travel expenses (roundtrip plane ticket in economy class) covered by the ILO.
